BAJV has engaged MWH Australia Pty Ltd to undertake preliminary water investigations for the Felicitas Bauxite Mining Project. The consultant team is comprised of highly experienced scientists who are specialists in hydrogeology, hydrology and subterranean ecology, and who have worked extensively in Australia and internationally.
These studies will commence with a desktop analysis of existing information regarding groundwater, surface water and subterranean fauna. This initial review will give direction to the development of comprehensive field studies that will provide information on potential water supply options for the mine and the development of a Mine Water Management Strategy.
